Job Summary

To support the return-to-work efforts for injured employees, the full-time Certified Return-to-Work Specialist will negotiate and facilitate accommodations, monitor rehabilitation plans, and ensure compliance with medical and legal standards while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Determine medically supported work restrictions and facilitate return-to-work efforts through negotiation with clients and treatment providers
  • Contact employers to gather job site information and assist in modifying job sites or obtaining adaptive equipment as needed
  • Maintain regular contact with clients post-placement to monitor progress and suggest changes to rehabilitation plans
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
  • Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) designation preferred
  • Experience in medical/clinical or rehabilitation settings
  • Knowledge of medical and legal regulations related to return-to-work programs
  • Ability to prepare detailed reports and documentation
