Job Summary

Overseeing the patient accounting specialists, the full-time Patient Accounting Lead will manage daily responsibilities, conduct data integrity audits, and coordinate efforts to resolve complex accounts while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate daily responsibilities to patient accounting specialists and oversee their performance
• Conduct data integrity audits to ensure productivity and quality metrics are met
• Act as a resource for operational questions and train new team members

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or related field preferred
• Three years of Revenue Cycle experience may substitute for the Associate's degree
• HFMA Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) certification required within six months
• Two years as a Patient Accounts Specialist III or equivalent position in Revenue Management
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote)
