Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Revenue Cycle Specialist (Biller).

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform initial charge review to determine appropriate ICD-10 and CPT codes for physician services
• Review and research insurance denials and provide timely follow-up on outstanding accounts receivables
• Collaborate with team members to ensure account accuracy and communicate payer billing guidelines

Required Qualifications:

• Good working knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
• Knowledge of third-party billing and collection regulatory guidelines
• Ability to gather and interpret clinical data
• A high school diploma or GED is required
• Billing or Coding Certification (CPC, CPC-A, COPC, CPB) or willingness to obtain certification within 6 months
