Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Accounts Specialist III.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve inappropriate payments with insurance carriers and ensure compliance with contracts
• Analyze claims for discrepancies and manage the denial appeals process with third-party payers
• Collaborate with ancillary departments and maintain positive relationships with payers

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• Must complete Orlando Health team member development within 6 months of hire date
• HFMA Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) certification required within six months
• One year of experience as a Patient Accounts Specialist II or three years in a related field
• Associate degree in Healthcare Administration or related field may substitute for two years of experience
