Certified Risk Adjustment Coder

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Certified Medical Coder.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor audit project activities and perform outreach for chart procurement
• Research and resolve non-retrievable chart case inventory
• Review, interpret, audit, code, and analyze medical records related to Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCC)

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in the health industry, including medical record coding
• Experience with HCC and/or Risk Adjustment coding
• Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC) certification
• Knowledge of ICD guidelines, CMS rules, and organizational policies
• Experience in developing risk adjustment documentation and coding tools
