Certified Risk Adjustment Coder

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Risk Adjustment Coding Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform medical record reviews and validate/assign ICD-10-CM diagnoses for Risk Adjustment
• Support coding/auditing work for retrospective risk adjustment and HHS-RADV initiatives
• Document coding discrepancies and collaborate with internal teams and providers to resolve coding issues

Required Qualifications

• CRC certification (Certified Risk Adjustment Coder) required
• 3+ years of experience in Risk Adjustment coding (HCC)
• 3+ years of HHS-RADV coding and auditing experience
• Strong knowledge of CMS/HHS coding and documentation guidelines
• Basic proficiency in Excel for data entry and lookups
