Job Summary
To support audit services, the contracted to full-time PACE Risk Adjustment Coder will code medical records for ICD-10-CM compliance, ensure production and quality standards are met, and prepare reports while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Code medical records to validate ICD-10-CM codes for PACE Risk Adjustment
- Research regulatory guidelines and prepare coding reports using Excel
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of protected health information following HIPAA policies
Required qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in PACE risk adjustment coding
- Extensive knowledge of ICD-10-CM coding and Risk Adjustment models for PACE
- Certification as a Certified Risk Coder (CRC)
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and EMR systems
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
