Certified Risk Adjustment Coder

Job Summary

To support audit services, the contracted to full-time PACE Risk Adjustment Coder will code medical records for ICD-10-CM compliance, ensure production and quality standards are met, and prepare reports while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Code medical records to validate ICD-10-CM codes for PACE Risk Adjustment
• Research regulatory guidelines and prepare coding reports using Excel
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of protected health information following HIPAA policies

Required qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in PACE risk adjustment coding
• Extensive knowledge of ICD-10-CM coding and Risk Adjustment models for PACE
• Certification as a Certified Risk Coder (CRC)
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and EMR systems
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
