Job Summary
Working fully remote in a full-time capacity, the Certified Risk Adjustment Coder will review member and claim data for validation, ensuring accurate coding and compliance with risk-adjusting diagnoses.
Key responsibilities:
- Review member and claim data validation aspects, including member details and service dates
- Confirm or deny risk-adjusting diagnoses billed on claims for specific dates of service
- Add valid but unreported risk-adjusting diagnoses as necessary
Required qualifications:
- Active certification through AAPC or AHIMA
- Minimum of 5 years of verifiable risk adjustment coding experience post-certification
- Ability to maintain a 95% accuracy rate and 3 CPH
- Knowledge of ICD-10-CM IP and OP coding
- US-based candidates only
