Certified Risk Adjustment Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Risk Adjustment Consultant, remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducts audits of medical records to ensure accuracy in diagnosis and CPT coding
• Evaluates medical records for compliance with CMS and DxCG regulations
• Provides education and feedback to physicians on risk adjustment coding guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC) or must obtain within the first 12 months of employment
• Two years of outpatient billing, coding, and risk adjustment experience
• Associate's degree preferred
• Two years of experience in outpatient billing, coding, risk adjustment, and primary care adult medicine preferred
