Certified Scrum Master

Job Summary

Leading Agile delivery execution for multiple development teams, the remote Certified Scrum Master will facilitate sprint ceremonies, remove impediments, and ensure adherence to Agile principles while supporting federal IT programs.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies for assigned delivery teams, including sprint planning and retrospectives
• Maintain and refine team sprint backlogs in coordination with product owners and workstream leads
• Identify and resolve team impediments, coordinating cross-team dependencies and integration touchpoints

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of Scrum Master experience on federal IT programs with Agile delivery teams of 5-12 engineers
• Strong mastery of Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe Agile frameworks
• Experience facilitating sprint ceremonies and using Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certification required
