Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Coder.

Key Responsibilities

• Train new coders on department policies, procedures, and coding principles
• Monitor staff workload, audit coders, and assist with provider education
• Review encounters for appropriate code assignments and ensure correct documentation

Required Qualifications

• Three or more years of professional fee coding experience
• CPC or CCS-P Certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior lead coder experience preferred
• Experience with GECB/IDX and Cerner is preferred
