Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Medical Coder.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform concurrent review of coding rules to ensure accurate coding and billing
• Utilize resources to identify appropriate medical codes and generate queries for unclear documentation
• Resolve coding edits or denials and educate others to improve coding quality

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or higher
• Coding Certification from AAPC or AHIMA (e.g., CPC, RHIT)
• 3+ years of coding experience in a healthcare setting
• Intermediate knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and coding guidelines
• Intermediate understanding of medical terminology and anatomy
