Job Summary

A company is looking for a Profee Complex Coder Surgical Cardiology.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze medical records and accurately code diagnostic and procedural information
• Abstract clinical diagnoses and procedure codes into electronic medical records
• Provide quality assurance for medical records to ensure compliance with coding regulations

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent specialized training in medical record keeping
• Active certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent
• Three or more years of complex professional coding experience within specialty
• Knowledge of ICD and CPT coding principles
• Ability to work effectively in a remote setting using coding software and abstracting systems
