Job Summary

A company is looking for an Adjunct Lecturer in Health & Fitness Studies - Therapeutic Recreation.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach THR 400 Seminar in Therapeutic Recreation and/or THR 402 Internship in Therapeutic Recreation
• Engage in all teaching responsibilities including content preparation, grading, and student engagement
• Meet with the Department Chair to discuss course content and student progress

Required Qualifications

• A Master's degree or higher in Therapeutic Recreation/Recreation Therapy
• Valid Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) credential
• Experience in teaching interprofessional trends in therapeutic recreation
• Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate level preferred
• Commitment to creating an inclusive classroom environment
