Certified Transplant Financial Specialist

Job Summary

To support the financial needs of prospective Bone Marrow Transplant patients, the full-time remote Certified Transplant Financial Specialist will analyze clinical orders, verify insurance benefits, and develop detailed financial estimates while providing compassionate counseling to patients and families throughout the transplant process.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze clinical orders and research insurance coverage to establish financial expectations for Bone Marrow Transplant patients
• Verify insurance benefits and acquire necessary referrals and authorizations for all transplant-related services
• Provide financial counseling and support to patients and families via phone and email communication

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of three years' experience in data processing, hospital registration, and insurance verification
• Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) certification required within six months of hire
• Strong computer and software navigation skills, with familiarity in medical terminology
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with clinical teams in a structured environment
