Job Summary

A company is looking for a Trauma Registrar to ensure accurate data collection for injured patients at designated trauma centers.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and maintain complete and accurate data for injured patients meeting trauma program criteria
• Collaborate with various disciplines to ensure comprehensive case findings
• Stay updated on standards and requirements from relevant health organizations and assist in epidemiology research as needed

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Associate's degree in Health Information Management, Health Data Specialist, or a related field
• Completion of AAAM Training within 1 year
• ICD10 course completion and refresher course within 5 years
• American Trauma Society Trauma Registry Course within 1 year
• 2 years of experience with trauma or specialized medical registries preferred
