Job Summary

A company is looking for a Trauma Registrar-REMOTE.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify trauma patients that meet inclusion criteria for the trauma registry from daily logs
• Abstract accurate information from trauma patient medical records for the Trauma Registry
• Generate monthly and annual reports and respond to special requests for statistical information

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year of Trauma Registry or Health Information Management experience
• Certified Trauma Registrar Certification through the American Trauma Society (preferred)
• Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) through AHIMA (preferred)
