Job Summary
To support oncology data management, the part-time Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) will maintain compliance with state and national standards, collect and analyze health information, and ensure quality data for accreditation initiatives while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Identifies eligible oncology cases and abstracts reports according to coding and regulatory guidelines
- Monitors and ensures the quality of cancer registry data, updating sources with treatment information
- Completes follow-up for accurate recurrence information and supports care site accreditation programs
Required qualifications
- Associates Degree
- Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) is required
- Two (2) years of experience in cancer registry, health information management, or a related field
