CFTC Licensed Compliance Manager

Job Summary

As the second-in-command of the Market Regulation Department, the full-time CFTC Licensed Compliance Manager will lead daily operations, ensure compliance with CFTC regulations, and manage internal and external examinations, all while working in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the leadership of CDE's Market Regulation Department, providing continuity in the Chief Regulatory Officer's absence
• Drive compliance posture by identifying regulatory gaps and implementing corrective actions across CFTC requirements
• Lead the management of examinations and audits, coordinating responses and ensuring timely resolution of findings

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in compliance and regulatory support for CFTC-registered designated contract markets or derivatives clearing organizations
• Demonstrated experience engaging with senior CFTC staff and understanding CFTC Core Principles
• Strong grasp of market fundamentals, trading practices, and investigative techniques
• Proven ability to synthesize regulatory observations into clear written reports for stakeholders
• Track record of managing multiple regulatory workstreams across cross-functional teams
