Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant General Counsel, Derivatives - Regulatory Legal.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as primary legal counsel for CFTC-registered entities, advising on regulatory obligations
• Provide legal support for regulatory engagement with the CFTC and NFA
• Partner with product and compliance teams to launch new derivatives products in compliance with CFTC requirements

Required Qualifications

• Qualified attorney admitted to practice law in the United States
• 12+ years of experience in financial services law, focusing on CFTC regulation and CEA-registered entities
• Deep knowledge of CEA and CFTC regulations, including DCM, DCO, and FCM obligations
• Experience managing complex regulatory relationships and coordinating with outside counsel
• Authentic interest in crypto and digital assets
