Character Technical Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Character Technical Director (TD) with a focus on Technical Animation/CFX.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform technical animation and character FX for shot production, including cloth and hair simulation
• Collaborate with Character Asset Team members to create effective simulation or animation rigs
• Manage secondary animation of characters using various simulation, rigging, and sculpting tools

Required Qualifications

• Experience in hair and/or cloth simulation
• Thorough understanding of animation principles and anatomy
• Solid understanding of Python scripting
• Experience on 3+ CG feature film productions
• Bachelor's degree in Art, Illustration, Computer Graphics, Engineering, or related field
