Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Epic or Cerner Charge Capture Analyst to work remotely in a full-time capacity, responsible for assessing charge capture workflows, directing system builds, and educating hospital staff on compliance and operational changes.
Key responsibilities
- Assess, document, and maintain charge capture workflows across applicable departments
- Direct order set and preference card builds within the Epic or Cerner environment
- Develop and deliver training to hospital staff on charge capture processes and system functionality
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience with Epic or Cerner, focusing on charge capture and revenue cycle
- Experience with order sets and preference cards in revenue-generating departments
- Knowledge of Charge Description Master (CDM) structure and maintenance
- Understanding of hospital billing, CPT/ICD-10 coding, and revenue integrity principles
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment
