Charge Capture Associate

Job Summary

Working remotely on a part-time basis, the Charge Capture Associate will review clinical documentation, accurately assess and enter charges for Emergency, Outpatient, and Observation services, utilizing medical coding software to ensure compliance and improve charge capture processes.

Key responsibilities

• Ensures timely and accurate capture of charges in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Examines financial reports for accuracy and processes charge entries
• Identifies inconsistencies in medical reports and collaborates with leadership to enhance charge capture

Required qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with relevant education or experience
• 0 to 2 years of experience with medical terminology
