Charge Capture Auditor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Revenue Integrity - Charge Capture Auditor.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit patient accounts daily for charge accuracy using Meditech Expanse and the Charge Capture Audit module
• Review medical records to ensure accurate surgery level assignments and compliance with procedures performed
• Identify and correct clinical and billing issues in patient accounts before billing, and participate in monthly project review meetings

Required Qualifications

• RN/LPN/LVN/Surgical Tech or coding certificate
• 1-3 years of experience with Meditech Expanse
• 1-3 years of clinical or coding auditing experience in healthcare settings
• Comprehensive knowledge of charge capture and charge reconciliation
• Familiarity with CMS guidelines and medical records review
