Key Responsibilities
- Review clinical documentation to ensure accurate charge capture and process claims for payment
- Educate departments on government regulations and ensure compliance with billing standards
- Analyze and resolve claim submission edits, ensuring timely and accurate claim submissions
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years of collection experience or experience with a Practice Management System
- Basic knowledge of coding and billing processes
- Familiarity with medical terminology and PC applications
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
