Charge Capture Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Charge Capture Specialist responsible for revenue capture and auditing of clinical services within healthcare departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct unit-specific revenue capture and auditing of clinical services
• Serve as a communication link between staff and management regarding patient charges and auditing issues
• Review and audit patient billing, maintain charge master, and coordinate with the Revenue Cycle Director for revenue management opportunities

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of healthcare or healthcare-related financial experience
• Current working knowledge of medical procedures and patient care items
• Knowledge of drug administration procedures and patient care billing preferred
• Certifications such as CCS, CPC, or RHIT are preferred
