Charge Capture Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Charge Capture Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Review clinical documentation and accurately assess and enter charges for services
• Identify and analyze charge capture errors and ensure compliance with federal regulations
• Collaborate with various departments to improve charge capture processes and resolve billing issues

Required Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age with relevant education and/or experience
• 2 to 5 years of experience in healthcare insurance, billing, and charging
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Associate's or Vocational degree in business, healthcare, or related field is a plus
• Certified Coding Specialist certification preferred upon hire
