Charge Capture Supervisor

Job Summary

Leading a team of charge capture specialists, the fully remote Charge Capture Supervisor will ensure accurate and timely charge entry, drive productivity, and implement best practices to optimize revenue cycle performance and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor charge capture professionals, monitoring daily operations for accuracy and timeliness
• Develop standardized workflows and establish productivity benchmarks while collaborating with clinical and financial departments
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines through routine audits and provide data-driven reports on team performance

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 3 years of charge capture or coding experience in a hospital or physician healthcare setting, along with 2 years of lead or supervisory experience
• Strong understanding of CPT/HCPCS and CMS/payer billing guidelines
• Prior experience leading teams or initiatives is required
• Experience with Epic Revenue Integrity, Hospital, and/or Professional Billing (Resolute) is preferred
