Charge Description Master Analyst

Job Summary

Maintaining and validating the organization's Charge Description Master (CDM), the full-time remote Charge Description Master Analyst will ensure accurate charge capture, support revenue integrity, and assist with regulatory compliance by reviewing charge codes and coordinating with clinical and financial teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and validate the CDM to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and payer guidelines
• Review charge codes, pricing, and descriptions while assisting in updating CDM entries and resolving discrepancies
• Prepare reports on CDM changes, support audits, and participate in process improvement initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Experience in charge capture, coding, or revenue cycle management
• Knowledge of CMS, CPT, HCPCS, and state-specific regulations
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
• Experience with healthcare software implementation and training
