Charge Description Master Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Charge Description Master Consultant.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain changes to the charge description master to ensure compliance with regulations
• Conduct internal reviews, identify issues, and provide education and training to ensure compliance
• Audit charge description masters for accuracy and completeness, and communicate reimbursement information for negotiations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field
• Four years of experience in billing, reimbursement, and/or coding
• Strong knowledge of managed care contracts and government payor compliance
• Technical knowledge of CPT-4/HCPCS and UB04 codes
• Experience with healthcare billing and reimbursement processes
