Charge Description Master Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Charge Description Master Specialist to ensure compliance and accuracy of the Chargemaster.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure Chargemaster compliance with coding and billing regulations
• Act as a liaison between the hospital and the Revenue Integrity/Chargemaster department
• Train hospital staff on CDM maintenance processes and charge capture improvements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Sciences, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years of hospital chargemaster experience, including knowledge of coding principles
• 3 years of experience with hospital charging practices
• 2 years of experience working with EMR related to Chargemaster, preferably EPIC
