Charge Description Master Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Charge Description Master Specialist to ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations while maintaining the Chargemaster.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure Chargemaster consistency with coding and billing regulations
• Act as a liaison between the Hospital ministry and the Revenue Integrity/Chargemaster Department
• Train Hospital ministry staff on CDM Maintenance processes and charge capture improvement

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Sciences, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years of Hospital chargemaster experience with CDM Maintenance software
• 3 years experience with Hospital charging practices
• 2 years experience working with EMR related to Chargemaster, preferably EPIC
