Charge Description Master Specialist
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Charge Description Master Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the Chargemaster is compliant with coding and billing regulations
- Act as a liaison between the hospital and the Revenue Integrity/Chargemaster department
- Train hospital staff on Chargemaster maintenance processes and coding updates
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Sciences, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of hospital chargemaster experience, including knowledge of CDM Maintenance software
- 3 years experience with hospital charging practices
- 2 years experience working with EMR related to Chargemaster, preferably EPIC
