Charge Description Master Specialist
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Charge Description Master Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the Chargemaster is compliant with coding and billing regulations
- Act as a liaison between the Hospital ministry and the Revenue Integrity/Chargemaster department
- Train Hospital ministry staff on CDM maintenance processes and coding updates
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Sciences, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of Hospital chargemaster experience, including CDM Maintenance software
- 3 years of experience with Hospital charging practices
- 2 years of experience working with EMR related to Chargemaster, preferably EPIC
