Charge Description Master Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Charge Description Master Specialist, Full Time, Day, Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the Chargemaster is compliant with coding and billing regulations and accurately reflects services provided
• Act as a liaison between the hospital and the Revenue Integrity/Chargemaster department, responding to inquiries and maintaining CDM standards
• Coordinate daily CDM maintenance workflow and document all policies and procedures related to CDM Maintenance and charge processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Sciences, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent education/experience
• 3 years of hospital chargemaster experience, including use of CDM Maintenance software and knowledge of billing requirements
• 3 years of experience with hospital charging practices
• 2 years of experience working with EMR related to Chargemaster, preferably EPIC
• Driving may be necessary; proof of driver license and auto insurance required upon request
