Charge Description Master Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Charge Description Master Specialist, Full Time, Day, Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure Chargemaster compliance with coding and billing regulations
• Act as a liaison for Chargemaster issues and provide training to hospital staff
• Coordinate daily CDM maintenance workflow and document policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Sciences, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 3 years of hospital chargemaster experience, including familiarity with CDM Maintenance software
• 3 years of experience with hospital charging practices
• 2 years of experience working with EMR related to Chargemaster, preferably EPIC
• Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD10 coding principles
