Charge Edit Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Charge Edit Analyst (Remote in Wisconsin/Michigan).

Key Responsibilities

• Review, correct, and approve charges in pended or assigned error reports
• Ensure accuracy of charge input through daily analysis of assigned charge processes
• Report charge processing/posting problems to Revenue Integrity management for resolution

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; further education must be from an accredited institution
• Successful completion of CPT, HCPCS, ICD, and medical terminology courses within one year of hire
• Three years of experience in a medical business office or healthcare setting required
• Experience with charge entry processes in a healthcare setting preferred
• No specific certifications or licenses required
