Charge Entry Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Charge Entry Associate - RCM.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter and review professional and facility charges for accuracy and compliance
• Scrub claims for discrepancies and collaborate with providers to resolve coding issues
• Submit claims and monitor for rejections, researching errors to minimize denials

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework or certifications in medical billing preferred
• At least one year of experience in healthcare administration or a billing environment preferred
• Knowledge of practice management systems and Microsoft Office
• Understanding of insurance billing processes and basic revenue cycle management principles
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
