Charge Entry Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Charge Entry Associate to support the Revenue Cycle Management team.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter and review professional and facility charges for accuracy and completeness
• Scrub claims for coding discrepancies and collaborate with providers to resolve issues
• Submit claims electronically and resolve front-end rejections to minimize denials

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certifications in medical billing or healthcare preferred
• At least one year of experience in a healthcare or billing environment is preferred
• Knowledge of practice management systems and Microsoft Office
• Understanding of insurance billing processes and basic revenue cycle management principles
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
