Charge Integrity Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Charge Integrity Analyst in HIM Revenue Integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and coordinate electronic data files, ensuring missed charges are billed and creating quarterly reports on missed revenue
• Assist in the maintenance of the charge master file, performing daily validation and general maintenance as required
• Audit revenue reports for charge accuracy and perform periodic audits to ensure appropriate charging of services

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Three years of experience in a hospital setting with knowledge of Medicare billing (if holding a Bachelor's degree)
• Seven years of experience in a hospital setting with knowledge of Medicare billing (if holding an Associate's degree)
• Eleven years of experience in a hospital setting with knowledge of Medicare billing (if holding a High School diploma or GED)
• No licensure or certification required
