Charge Integrity Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Charge Integrity Analyst - HIM Revenue Integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and coordinate electronic data files, ensuring missed charges are billed and creating reports on revenue impact
• Assist in the maintenance of the charge master file and perform daily validation and reconciliation of CDM files
• Audit revenue reports for charge accuracy and review departmental charge capture procedures, conducting random audits as necessary

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Three years of experience in a hospital setting with knowledge of Medicare billing and government regulations (if Bachelor's degree)
• Seven years of experience in a hospital setting with knowledge of Medicare billing and government regulations (if Associate's degree)
• Eleven years of experience in a hospital setting with knowledge of Medicare billing and government regulations (if High School diploma or GED)
• No licensure or certification required
