Job Summary

To recover charged-off accounts, the hybrid remote Charge Off Collector will negotiate payment arrangements and settlements while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls with consumers and authorized third parties
• Negotiate payments, settlements, and repayment plans while resolving account issues
• Utilize skip tracing tools to locate consumers with outdated contact information

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of FDCPA and collection regulations
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Professional phone and basic computer skills
• Ability to manage difficult conversations and remain composed
