Responsible for recovering charged-off accounts, the full-time Charge Off Collector will negotiate payment arrangements and settlements while working remotely, ensuring compliance with regulations and providing a customer-focused experience.
Key responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls with consumers and authorized third parties
- Negotiate payments, settlements, and repayment plans for charged-off accounts
- Utilize skip tracing tools to locate consumers and resolve account issues
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of FDCPA and collection regulations
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage difficult conversations and remain composed
