Chargemaster Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Chargemaster Specialist who conducts detailed reviews of chargemaster line items for hospitals and clinics.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and validate chargemaster line items, ensuring accurate assignment of CPT/HCPCS and revenue codes
• Provide coding recommendations and communicate findings effectively
• Track client projects and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 5 years of experience managing the chargemaster in a facility environment or equivalent education
• Preferred certifications: CPC, CRC, CCS, RHIT
• Strong knowledge of billing, compliance, and clinical service lines
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
