Chart Capture Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Chart Capture Representative, responsible for reconciling patient charts and supporting revenue cycle tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily reconciliation of charts received to ED log totals within specified timeframes
• Coordinate obtaining additional clinical information from clinicians on straggler charts as needed
• Identify and report OnBase chart flow issues and contribute ideas to the Chart Capture team

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1 year of office experience preferred, especially in medical billing or clinic registration
• Understanding of revenue cycle/chart flow and associated processes
• Intermediate computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience with OnBase or other workflow software preferred
