Chart Capture Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Chart Capture Representative to support the Chart Capture group within Health Care Financial Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily reconciliation of patient charts to ED log totals within established timeframes
• Coordinate obtaining additional clinical information for straggler charts as needed
• Identify and report OnBase chart flow issues and contribute ideas for strategic improvements

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1 year of office experience preferred, particularly in medical billing or registration
• Understanding of revenue cycle/chart flow processes
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience with OnBase or similar workflow software preferred
