Chart Procurement Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Chart Procurement Specialist (RADV).

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain medical records from various EHR systems for audits and chart review campaigns
• Ensure medical records contain necessary information for effective chart reviews
• Maintain organized storage for easy retrieval and prepare detailed reports on retrieval rates and challenges

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field preferred
• Active certification as a Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) preferred
• 2-3 years of experience in medical record retrieval with knowledge of risk adjustment and RADV audits
• Familiarity with EHR systems and medical record retention policies
