Chatbot Developer (Texas Licensed)

Job Summary

To support the Tendem project, a part-time freelance Chatbot Developer (Texas Licensed) will design, build, and refine messaging bots for platforms such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and Discord, while collaborating with Tendem Agents to ensure reliable and user-friendly conversational experiences in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Build bots for messaging platforms, including WhatsApp, Telegram, and Discord
• Design and implement conversational flows and integrate bots with LLMs for natural language responses
• Connect bots to backend services and handle webhooks, rate limits, and platform-specific message formats

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in backend, integration, automation, or bot development
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields is a plus
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience building bots for major messaging platforms
• Strong command of Python or Node.js for backend bot logic
• Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and databases for storing conversation state and user data
