Chemical Assessor

Job Summary

Performing assessments according to the bluesign criteria, the full-time Chemical Assessor will manage company evaluations, follow-up compliance processes, and prepare related documentation while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre-evaluation and onsite assessments to ensure compliance with bluesign criteria
• Prepare reports and maintain the business process leading IT tool for ongoing assessments
• Monitor continuous improvement through follow-up assessments and project work as needed

Required qualifications

• Degree in engineering, natural science, or a technical field, preferably related to textiles
• Knowledge of product stewardship, classification, labeling, and regulatory affairs
• Experience in chemistry and/or plastic manufacturing industries
• Prior auditing experience in environment, health, and safety
• Fluency in English and Spanish, with strong written communication skills
