Job Summary
Performing assessments according to the bluesign criteria, the full-time Chemical Assessor will manage company evaluations, follow-up compliance processes, and prepare related documentation while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct pre-evaluation and onsite assessments to ensure compliance with bluesign criteria
- Prepare reports and maintain the business process leading IT tool for ongoing assessments
- Monitor continuous improvement through follow-up assessments and project work as needed
Required qualifications
- Degree in engineering, natural science, or a technical field, preferably related to textiles
- Knowledge of product stewardship, classification, labeling, and regulatory affairs
- Experience in chemistry and/or plastic manufacturing industries
- Prior auditing experience in environment, health, and safety
- Fluency in English and Spanish, with strong written communication skills
