Chemical Assessor - Textiles

Job Summary

To support compliance with the bluesign criteria, the full-time Chemical Assessor - Textiles will perform assessments, prepare documentation, and conduct follow-up evaluations, with the opportunity for occasional business travel to Canada and Latin America while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct company assessments onsite, including pre-evaluation of documents and report writing
• Manage the implementation process to achieve compliance with the bluesign criteria
• Perform follow-up assessments to monitor continuous improvement at client companies

Required qualifications

• Educational background in engineering, natural science, or a technical degree related to textiles
• Knowledge of product stewardship, classification, labeling, and regulatory affairs
• Experience in chemistry or plastic industry manufacturing
• Prior auditing experience in environmental, health, and safety fields
• Fluency in English and Spanish, with strong communication skills for multicultural teamwork
